Jordi Bellmunt - Architect


Architect for the ETSAB DE Barcelona in the year 1980; teacher in the Department of Urban Planning and Territorial Planning (UPC) since 1982. In 1987, he began as a teacher the Master of Landscape Architecture (MAP) and was consolidated as director of the same since 2000. From 1997 to 2006 assumes the position of deputy director of the ETSAB. Since 1980, he is a visiting professor in different university and cultural venues around the world. He is part of the scientific committee of the specialized magazines Paisajismo, Architettura del Paesaggio, Paisea, Korezero, Rasegna and Paysage. Organized, since 1999, the European Landscape Biennial of Barcelona (10 editions). Advisor to the Barcelona City Council, member of the Governing Council of the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia and advisor to the Landscape Office of the COAC. Awards: FAD 1991; Torsanlorenzo 2006; Prix ​​Mediterranea de Paysage 2007; Ippolito Pizzetti 2008 and 2009; selected at the Alejandro de la Sota Architecture Biennial in 2005 and 2009; and Medal of the College of Architects of Catalonia 2010. He works as an architect and landscaper, co-founder in 2008 with Agata Buscemi of “B2B arquitectes”. He exposes and publishes his work to different specialized media.
